Steven L. Murray
Steven Murray is an experienced attorney in the areas of employment law and trial practice.
Mr. Murray's legal experience has been virtually exclusively devoted to practicing employment law in federal and state judicial and administrative proceedings. Such experience includes representing employees, associations, and employers.
Mr. Murray received a Master of Laws degree in Labor and Employment Law from the Georgetown University Law Center in 1983. In 1981, he graduated from the Saint Louis University School of Law where he served on the Saint Louis University Law Journal. He has written published articles, concerning public and private sector employment and labor law, political patronage, and constitutional law. These articles appeared in the DePaul Law Review [Lead Article], Saint Louis University Law Journal, and Government Executive Magazine [co-author].
Mr. Murray is admitted to practice law in Colorado, the District of Columbia, and Illinois. In addition, he is admitted to the United States District Court for the District of Colorado, and the District of Columbia, as well as the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth and Federal Circuits, and other Federal Courts.
Mr. Murray is a member of the National Employment Lawyers Association, the Colorado Trial Lawyers Association, the American Association for Justice, formerly the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, the Faculty of Federal Advocates, and the Colorado and Denver Associations.
As lead counsel, Mr. Murray has represented prevailing clients in multiple, consecutive jury trials before the United States District Court for the District of Colorado. These employment law cases involved private sector, federal government, and local government employees or applicants for employment.
