- Representation of a prevailing federal government employee before the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado. The employee prevailed on his claim of continued EEO retaliation by the Defendant, the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. The jury ruled in favor of the employee and awarded the employee compensatory damages. The Court awarded attorney fees and costs.
- Representation of prevailing plaintiff, a former employee of a private company, in a jury trial before the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado. The Defendant employer discharged the plaintiff, a female. The plaintiff asserted a claim of willful age discrimination. The jury ruled in favor of the plaintiff, finding the Defendant had committed unlawful, willful age discrimination, in discharging the plaintiff. The jury awarded the plaintiff damages. Thereafter, the parties entered into a confidential settlement concerning the issues of damages, liquidated damages, front pay, attorney fees, and costs.
- Representation of prevailing plaintiff, an applicant for employment with the City and County of Denver, in a jury trial before the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado. The jury ruled in favor of the plaintiff, finding the City had engaged in willful age discrimination, in the non-selection of the applicant for employment. The jury awarded damages. The Court awarded liquidated damages. Moreover, the plaintiff received payment from the City for attorney fees.
- Representation of prevailing plaintiff, a former employee of a private company, in a jury trial before the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado. The Defendant had discharged the plaintiff, a male. The plaintiff’s case included a claim of willful EEO retaliation in violation of the retaliation provision of the Age Discrimination in Employment Act [ADEA], a federal law. The jury ruled in favor of the employee, finding the Defendant had committed unlawful, willful EEO retaliation under ADEA, in discharging the plaintiff. The jury awarded the plaintiff damages. The Defendant had discharged the plaintiff, a male. The plaintiff’ case included a claim of unlawful race/national origin discrimination. The jury ruled in favor of the plaintiff, finding the Defendant had committed unlawful discrimination. The jury awarded the plaintiff damages. The Court awarded the plaintiff attorney fees, and costs.

The employee’s claims included sex discrimination, a hostile work environment, and EEO retaliation. This case was resolved through settlement on the first day of the trial before the trial began.
- Representation of a female employee of the U.S. Department of Interior before the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado. The employee’s claims included sex discrimination, a hostile work environment, and EEO retaliation. This case was resolved through settlement after each party had taken one deposition.
- Representation of a female employee of the U.S. Postal Inspection Service before the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado. The employee’s claims included sex discrimination and EEO retaliation. This case was resolved through formal mediation one week before the trial date.
- Representation of a prevailing federal government employee in a hearing before an Administrative Judge of the U.S. Merit Systems Protection Board [MSPB], in the Denver Field Office of the MSPB. The Government Agency employer, a branch of the United States military, sought to remove the civilian employee from employment for misconduct. The Administrative Judge ruled in favor of the employee. The employee retained his employment position and he was awarded attorney fees and costs.

The Government Agency employer sought to remove the employee from employment for misconduct. The Board ruled in favor of the employee.
