Steven Murray served as a Senior Trial Attorney with the U. S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission [EEOC]−representing the EEOC before U.S. District Courts in Colorado, Oklahoma, Florida, Mississippi, Alabama, and Arizona−including practicing civil rights law in the Deep South as a legal unit member in the EEOC’s Birmingham District Office.
Prior to government service, Steven Murray served as an employment lawyer and civil rights attorney−serving as a private practitioner, law firm partner, and counsel for a public sector labor organization in Denver, and as a law firm attorney and counsel for an international labor organization in Washington, D.C.
Steven Murray received a Masters of Laws degree in Employment and Labor Law from Georgetown University Law Center and a Juris Doctor degree from the Saint Louis University School of Law. He is admitted to practice law in Colorado and the District of Columbia, before the U.S. District Courts for Colorado and the District of Columbia and multiple U.S. Circuit Courts of Appeal.
